Check lists for between employers and employees(Employment Contract, Weekly holiday benefit)

1. Employment Contract

An Employment contract should be issued to the employee in written form. And the contract should include the information about main working conditions in accordance with Labor Standard Act Article 17.

If not, the employer will be fined up to 5,000,000won.

***And if the working conditions on the contract are not up to Labor Standard Act,the conditions become void and arranged by Labor Standard Act.***

2. Weekly holiday benefit.

If a employee supposed to work 15 hours or more a week works a week without absence, the employer should give the employee paid vacation at least once a week.

(ex. If a employee works 8 hours a day,then the employer should give the employee a pay of 8 hours-working.)

it not, the employer would be fined up to 10,000,000won or sentenced to up to 2 years in prison.
